Every Christmas, the GK family comes together to spread holiday cheer. Learners and staff donate items to create festive hampers, which we proudly donate to the Atherton and Leigh Food Bank, ensuring that our neighbours enjoy the season's warmth regardless of their circumstances.
Seasonal Giving
On the 27th September 2017, GKTS learners hosted a special coffee morning, serving cake and coffee to local community members and external partners. The event not only brought us closer to the community but also helped raise £216.54 for a cause dear to many. Our learners showed exceptional initiative by securing numerous raffle prizes to maximise our contribution. A heartfelt thank you to all the local businesses that supported this event.

GKTS is an active participant in local initiatives. Recently, we donated to Circus Star at DW Stadium and sponsored local business GeeTee’s in a charity run to support Wigan Youth Zone in August 2017. These activities not only help worthy causes but also strengthen our ties with the local business community, demonstrating our commitment to local growth and support.

GK Training Services is committed to nurturing creativity and excellence in local schools. We proudly sponsored Bedford High School's Art Exhibition for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. Our contributions helped finance awards for outstanding young artists across various year groups, celebrating their achievements with prizes for the top three places. Beyond funding, our team also participated in the judging panel, selecting the winners and encouraging artistic expression among students. This initiative not only supports educational enrichment but also acknowledges and rewards the hard work and talent of young artists.
Empowering Young Artists
Each year, GK Training Services sponsors Circus Starr, an incredible event designed for young people with high needs and their carers. This sponsorship ensures that these special attendees can experience a day full of joy, entertainment, and unforgettable memories without any cost barriers. By covering the expenses for these young people and their carers, we help provide an inclusive, fun-filled outing that is accessible to all, reflecting our dedication to enhancing the lives of those in our community through inclusive support and memorable experiences.
